Twenty20 world cup 2007: Zimbabwe name their Twenty20 squad

Zimbabwe is also a listed name in the list of Twenty20. They have been named in group- B along with pioneer England and world champion team Australia. Obviously they are underdog team. And it is sure that they will left-out from the first round. But at a time Zimbabwe was also a strong team who could defeat any team any time. In today’s Zimbabwe is really different than previous Zimbabwe. Because of their political problem, experienced players bound to leave their country.
However, as Zimbabwe is a selected name for Twenty20 world championship match so, they also announced their best 15-men squad where one-day international match playing players were more accepted except two names. They are Johnson Marumisa and Tymicen Maruma.
These two players got chance depend on their domestic cricket performance. Johnson Marumisa got chance as a batsmen and and Maruma as an off-spin bowlers.
Not only these but also many rested players also come back in this squad where Tatenda Taibu is the shiniest name.

he rest of the squad is made up of experienced one-day players including former captain and wicketkeeper Tatenda Taibu and the aggressive all-rounders Elton Chigumbura and Shaun Williams.
Prosper Utseya has been retained as captain of the team that also includes Hamilton Masakadza, Chamunorwa Chibhabha, Brendon Taylor, Gary Brent and Vusi Sibanda.
Zimbabwe will be based in Cape Town and they will take on tournament favourites Australia at Newlands in a Group B opener on September 12 and England the following day.

One question raise in my mind that is Zimbabwe has possibility to play this type of tournament. Actually where they are underdog team and stay at last in ICC ranking. I hope again they will come back in their previous form and start getting win against any team.
